How Does AEROSEAL Work?
We apply a special, health-safe sealing agent in the form of a fine mist (aerosol) to the HVAC ductwork. This mist flows through the entire system, and in areas where air is leaking, the aerosol particles begin to settle and fill the gaps. Through gradual layering, the gaps are completely sealed, and the material subsequently hardens permanently.
01 Measuring the leakage
We will perform duct airtightness testing on several sections of the HVAC system in your building. You can use these test results for validation prior to system commissioning or before final inspection in accordance with technical standards. These tests will also determine whether sealing is necessary.

0102 Savings Calculation
Based on data from the airtightness measurements and project documentation, we will prepare a calculation of the savings and benefits of sealing the ductwork using Aeroseal technology. We will calculate the financial costs, return on investment, and long-term savings during building operation.

0203 Ductwork Sealing
Depending on the size of the system, the duct sealing process itself takes anywhere from a few hours to several days. However, it is not necessary to shut down the entire building at once. We are able to work on individual sections outside of business hours so that building operations are not disrupted.

History and Origins of AEROSEAL.
Like many successful projects, AEROSEAL began in a garage. Dr. Mark Modera invented a breakthrough aerosol-based sealing technology there. For the first time, it was possible to seal leaks and holes in air ducts from the inside. Modera’s invention was very well received by the industry and even won the prestigious Energy Top 100 award from the U.S. Department of Energy. AEROSEAL has been a proven choice for 30 years, and we are now bringing it to the Czech Republic.
